Vera Fernandes is fast emerging pop / urban artist in the Australian music scene.

The model-come-singer now 25 years old was born in Portugal and lives in Sunny Sydney where she has captured an overwhelming response from fans.
Already known to many as a former promotional model, Vera is still one of the most recognisable faces in the Australian car enthusiast industry. However those who know her know that she has been long pursuing her lifelong passion to become a recording artist.
In mid 2007 she kicked off that dream by collaborating with QBizzi & Mc Tuppz, a lyrically gifted rapper from South Auckland New Zealand and together they wrote, produced and released their unsigned track "Lose Control" through myspace.com.“Lose Control” was a hit and captivated the RnB audience of Oz receiving regular play on Australia's number 1 Rnb station The Edge 96.1fm and also landed her a special guest interview on DJ “Nino Brown’s” Trail blazing show.
She has also been consistently ranked a TOP 100 Australian Artist on Myspace music.In just a few years Vera Fernandes has become one of the most exciting young females rising in the australian pop/urban music industry.
today vera has liaised with one of Australia’s music producing powerhouse The Sound Academy where she is recorded and co-wrote her new single "All about you" for her forthcoming album with producers Audius & Leon.
Audius is the hitmaker behind the ARIA Award winning and chart topping singles, Delta Goodrem's - 'Born To Try' and Jessica Mauboy's / Flo Rida’s "Running Back" to name a few..Her first single "All about you" speaks for itself. Her distinct vocals and catchy hooks, mashed up with amazing beats and production have attracted the interest of radio station music directors and have been compared to the international pop stars of today such as Nelly Furtdao, Rhianna and Black Eyed Peas..
Not bad for an unsigned artist...And this is just the beginning.
Vera Fernandes is now heavily focused on recording her album over the next 6 months and is anticipating the digital release of her 2nd single “Sometimes we fall” due to be available on iTunes JANURAY 2010.
